Ben Gibson and Lukas Rupp were both at the Norwich City Fan Hub on Friday afternoon to meet fans, pose for photos and sign memorabilia.
"It's been a really good day," Gibson said. "It's nice to be out doing these things again to give a little bit something back to the fans and to get to know them and meet them.
"Since I signed for the club, it's been heavily affected by Covid, so we've not been able to do these sorts of things. It's really important, in terms of connecting with the fans and the fans feeling that connection with us. Me and Lukas have really enjoyed it.
"We signed the sole of someone's shoe, which was a bit different, as well as a pair of my matchworn shorts, which are being eBayed off or something... I can't imagine they'd have been smelling too good!"
"It's been quite a long time since I was here two years ago for a signing session," Rupp added. "It's amazing to make the fans smile again.
"I moved to the city centre. I was living a bit more outside but I want to enjoy the city life and it's nice to see all the fans at the stadium and in the city all of the time. It's good that we are getting more or less towards normal life."
