Norwich City Women welcomed the club's player pathway scholars and first team for an awards evening to celebrate the 2023/24 season.

Norwich City Sporting Director Ben Knapper opened the evening by highlighting the hard work gone into the development of the women's team and highlighting their successes over the course of the season.

Community Sports Foundation CEO Ian Thornton also took to the stage to present the Foundation's Outstanding Achievement Award to Lucy Bendall for her contributions in coaching, volunteering and commitment to the charity.

Megan Todd was commended for her work with the Foundation over the years after recently announcing her departure from the club after five-and-a-half years as girls' and women's football development manager.

The Academy Development awards then got underway and were awarded as follows:

Under-10s - presented by Alice Parker and Katie Knights

Players' Player of the Season - Olivia

Under-12s - presented by Connor Veal and Freya Symonds

Players' Player of the Season - Poppy

Under-14s - presented by Summer Ward, Millie Daviss and Lucy Bendall

Players' Player of the Season - Nancy

Under-16s - presented by Scott Emmerson, Rebecca Burton and Ellie Smith

Players' Player of the Season - Isabelle

Girls' Football and Education Programme - presented by Summer Ward

Winner - Lily

Supporters' Player of the Season - Ellie Smith

Goal of the Season - Alice Parker

Moment of the Season - FA Cup win against Hashtag United

Players' Player of the Season - Sarah Quantrill

Young Player of the Season - Eloise Morran

Special Contribution - Anna Larkins

Community Engagement - Anna Larkins

Natasha Snelling and Rachel Lawrence both received a special mention and signed matchball for each scoring a hat-trick during the season.

Hope Strauss, Felicity Limage, Charlotte Pernet, Lauren Hailes, Lauren Tomlinson, Rachel Lawrence, Holly Kennard, Shannon Shaw and Sarah Quantrill were then invited on stage to receive their debut shirts from the season.

Mindset coach Floss Andrews was also recognised for her help within the team working on the players' personal development and finding a balance for long-term success.
