Academy player Jake Glossop has signed his first professional contract at Norwich City.
The 17-year-old has progressed through the ranks within the academy, having signed for the Canaries as an eight-year-old.
The fullback, born in Fakenham, has made 29 appearances across both the Under-18s and Under-21s this season, most recently scoring in City's 2-1 Premier League Development Play-Off semi-final tie against Nottingham Forest Under-21s at the City Ground.
Signing professional terms, Glossop said: “I'm very happy. It's a moment that I've been working towards for a long time now.
“To finally be offered and get over the line, something I'm very grateful for.”
Speaking as a Norwich fan himself, the fullback said: “It's a very good feeling, because there's lots of people that I know who support and follow the club, so every time that I get an opportunity to represent the club – I feel I'm proud of that.”
