Norwich City Women are delighted to announce that Poppy Groves has signed a new contract to extend her time with the club.
The midfielder joined the Canaries from Leicester City in February earlier this year, having worked her way up through the Foxes' academy.
She made her first appearance for City as a substitute against Fulham in February before earning her full debut on a trip to Bedford Town Football Club against MK Dons.
Groves has slotted seamlessly into the midfield and featured in all Norwich City fixtures since making the move to Norfolk.
On signing a new contract with the club, she said: "It's a really proud moment for me and my family; since being here at Norwich, I've loved every single moment and I can't wait to keep that going.
"Ever since I've been here, I've always been dedicated to the project that the club has set, so, I thought it was a perfect time for me to extend my time at Norwich City.
"Things have started really well and I can't wait to see what's next.
"The girls here are brilliant; I think this is probably one of the best groups I've been a part of."
Head of women's football, Flo Allen, said: "Since joining the club, Poppy has been a key part of the midfield unit.
"She brings real intensity both in and out of possession, along with composure on the ball.
"She is a brilliant character and we are all delighted that she has agreed to extend her stay at the club."
