Norwich City trio Angus Gunn, Grant Hanley and Kenny McLean all featured for Scotland in their first game of the 2024 European Championships.
Gunn started the game in Berlin, as hosts Germany ran out 5-1 winners in a disappointing evening for Steve Clarke's side.
Hanley was introduced at half-time after Ryan Porteous was sent off just before the break, with McLean replacing John McGinn after 67 minutes.
Scotland face Switzerland on Wednesday (KO 8pm) in their second group game.
