Norwich City captain Grant Hanley spoke to Canaries TV following the Canaries' draw with Sheffield United in the Sky Bet Championship.
Having led 2-0 at the break, Hanley said that the overwhelming feeling was disappointment at not being able to see out the game.
"It's disappointing, we were a couple up at half-time. To lose a couple of goals then that we should have done better with and be left hanging on towards the end," the Scotland international explained.
"And the penalty with five minutes to go makes us think we have a chance to get a goal and hang on. We had a couple of chances at the start of the second half, they were quite open but then they worked their way back in."
However, he did acknowledge that it was a step in the right direction, stemming what had been a run of three consecutive losses.
Another night on the road awaits with Burnley on Tuesday night next for Norwich.
""I think so, we had three defeats on the bounce. For us, that's a really bad run in the Championship so it's a positive in terms of stopping that run of results," Hanley added.
"But, at the same time, we knew it would be difficult coming here and a game we could take the three points from. It played out like that as well but it wasn't to be.
"It's the Championship. That's the way it is. we'll dust ourselves down and get ready for that game."
