Norfolk-born Lauren Hemp and England's Lionesses have reached the FIFA Women's World Cup quarter-finals after a tense penalty shootout against Nigeria.
Hemp made the starting line-up of Sarina Wiegman's team, playing 105 minutes in Brisbane before the European champions secured their spot in the next round following a 4-2 win in the shootout.
Hemp was among the scorers in a 6-1 win over China in the final game of the group stages, following earlier 1-0 wins over Haiti and Denmark.
Having grown up in North Walsham, Hemp made her way into an England shirt from the Norwich City Girls Centre of Excellence, joining Bristol City alongside Norwich City Women general manager Flo Allen at age 16, before signing for Manchester City in 2018.
The Lionesses now face Colombia or Jamaica at 11.30 BST on Saturday.
