Brad Hills has completed a permanent transfer to League One side Stockport County for an undisclosed fee.
The defender has been at Norwich City since the age of eight, working his way up through the club's youth system before playing five times for the first team.
He spent the second half of last season on loan with Stockport, helping Dave Challinor's side to the play-offs where they lost to Leyton Orient at the semi-final stage.
During his time with the Hatters, he played 18 times, scoring once, that goal coming in a 3-1 win against Rotherham.
Sporting director Ben Knapper commented: "Whilst we’re all sad to see Brad depart, we’re thankful for all of his contributions over the years and we wish him nothing but the best moving forwards.
"He has developed well over recent seasons and he had reached a point whereby regular playing time was important for him at this stage of his career.
"Given his qualities, he deserves that, and whilst it’s a shame that couldn’t be here just yet, we understand his desire to seek that and are glad that we could facilitate an exit for him in a mutually beneficial way.
"We will continue to follow his progress closely and we’re confident he’ll continue to develop really well as he establishes himself in the senior game. Brad will always be welcome back here and we wish him all best in this next, exciting step."
