Ahead of our fixture against Luton Town tonight, the club would like to reiterate to fans that Norwich City are dedicated to ensuring that Carrow Road is a home for everyone and a place that all supporters feel safe.

Norwich City retail employee Tajmin Rahman spoke to canaries.co.uk about how Carrow Road feels like a home to her. She said: “It's a real community here. You feel like you know everyone because we all have the same love for the history, the game and the players.

"The fans and staff are the reason for the incredible atmosphere at Carrow Road, it’s lifts everyone’s spirits and it is unmatched. It is a home for all, which makes us a family."

The club also discussed with Tajmin why holding fans responsible to unacceptable behaviour is so important.

Tajmin said: “Within this club, we, as fans are pivotal to the morale of the club, as we are part of a chain of success and when fans choose to act and behave resentfully this breaks the chain of unity and equality which inevitably damages our chances of excelling.

"It is important to hold people responsible for inappropriate and distasteful behaviour because it will ultimately lead to a better environment, for fans, staff and players. Negative behaviour causes distraction and takes away from the importance of the moment!"

We encourage all supporters to help us in driving a welcoming and safe atmosphere at Carrow Road and ask you to continue to report any behaviour that violates the supporter charter.
