Jordan Hugill has departed Norwich City to join fellow Sky Bet Championship side Rotherham United in a permanent transfer.

The striker, who joined the Canaries in the summer of 2020 from West Ham, would go on to make 44 appearances for the club, scoring six goals.

Hugill played his part in the club's 2020/21 Championship title win and promotion back to the Premier League.

The following season he would spend on loan at, first, West Brom, and then Cardiff City.

In the current campaign, he has made 10 appearances with one goal and one assist for City.

Sporting director Stuart Webber said: “Jordan has been a great professional since the day he walked through the door. We wish him and his family well in this next step.

“Jordan played an important role in our promotion from the Sky Bet Championship two seasons ago and has proven to be a great support for Teemu Pukki during his time with us.

“We all wish Jordan the very best with his move. He’ll always be welcome back at both the Lotus Training Centre and Carrow Road.”

Everyone at Norwich City wishes Jordan the very best in the future.
