Following the government’s recent announcement surrounding COVID-19 and the imminent rollout of Plan B, Norwich City would like to outline requirements for fans attending upcoming matchdays at Carrow Road.
Fans attending the Boxing Day game against Arsenal at Carrow Road will be required to meet mandatory COVID-19 certification requirements, in line with the latest government guidance. Once details have been finalised with both the Premier League and the club’s Safety Advisory Group, a further club communication will follow with details for supporters.
In the interim, supporters are continued to be encouraged to register and sign up for the NHS COVID-19 Pass app.
There will be no government-mandated COVID-19 certification requirements in place for entry to Carrow Road for both Saturday’s fixture against Manchester United and Tuesday’s game against Aston Villa. However, voluntary checks for supporters will be in place.
As a legal requirement, supporters must wear a face covering within concourses and other indoor areas.
From Friday, December 10, face masks must be worn inside the club shop at Carrow Road.
At both the Manchester United and Aston Villa games, supporters may be asked to satisfy at least one of the following criteria on a voluntary basis that may be checked prior to entry into the stadium:
- NHS COVID-19 Pass, accessed via the NHS app or Apple Wallet (for more information, click here).
- Proof of a negative lateral flow test, taken 48 hours or less prior to kick off, which can be shown using the NHS COVID-19 Pass in the form of an official NHS email, text message or LFT sample pad
- Anti-body test evidence in the NHS COVID app
- COVID Pass letter (from one of NHS England, NHS Scotland or Four nation) for those who are double vaccinated
- NHS COVID vaccine card, providing date of second vaccine was at least 14 days prior to the fixture
- EU Digital COVID Certificate
- Hidden disabilities lanyard
Those supporters making use of the NHS COVID-19 Pass should ensure that their NHS app and pass are both fully updated and in date.
To make the process as seamless as possible please attend matches fully prepared, follow instructions and arrive early to allow enough time for the entry checks.
The club would also request that all supporters remain patient and are respectful to club staff and COVID marshals upon entry to Carrow Road.
