Norwich City midfielders Billy Gilmour and Kenny McLean featured as Scotland sealed their play-off spot for World Cup qualification, as they beat Moldova 2-0 in Chisinau.
Scotland knew three points would have confirmed their place in the play-offs, and Nathan Patterson of Rangers put them well on their way to achieving that with a low strike in the first-half.
Che Adams of Southampton sealed the win in the second-half, as Scotland confirmed second place in Group F behind already qualified Denmark, who they face on Monday night.
Gilmour played 85 minutes before being replaced by McLean for the closing stages.
Elsewhere, Przemyslaw Placheta was an unused substitute as Poland also clinched their play-off spot in Group I with a 4-1 win over Andorra.
In U21 European Championship qualification, Archie Mair played the full 90 minutes of Scotland Under-21s 2-1 win over Kazakhstan.
