Eight Canaries were named in international squads over the weekend in a busy schedule of World Cup qualifiers, friendly matches and youth qualifiers.
Ruairi McConville and Northern Ireland kicked off the action on Thursday evening, though their FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign came to an end after a 2-0 defeat to Italy.
In friendly action, Kenny McLean and José Córdoba both completed 90 minute shifts in friendlies for their respective countries; Scotland and Panama. The City captain earned himself a player of the match award in the Tartan Army's 1-0 loss against Japan, whilst Panama played out a 1-1 draw against South Africa.
Elsewhere, Ali Ahmed played 63 minutes for Canada on home turf as they drew 2-2 to Iceland in another friendly, whilst Anis Ben Slimane was an unused substitute in Tunisia's 1-0 victory over Haiti.
The pair will then go head-to-head when Canada host Tunisia on Wednesday morning.
In the youth ranks, Rico Lewis rescued a point for England Under-21s with a dramatic 97th-minute penalty to draw 1-1 in their EURO 2027 qualifier. While Kellen Fisher didn’t see minutes, he returns to Carrow Road tomorrow evening as the Young Lions face Moldova.
Meanwhile, Elliot Myles watched from the bench as Wales Under-21s secured a vital qualifying win over Belarus.
Errol Mundle-Smith celebrated making his debut for England Under-20s on Friday afternoon, playing 21 minutes in a 3-3 friendly draw against Italy.
