Dimitris Giannoulis helped Greece to a draw and a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw against Lithuania and Adam Idah came on as a substitute in the Republic of Ireland's EURO 2024 qualifier against France.
Gus Poyet's side hosted their visitors for a friendly match at the Opap Arena Stadium on Monday, March 27, in a 5pm kick-off.
Giannoulis was brought on to replace Liverpool's Kostas Tsimikas after the left-back was injured in the 23rd minute.
City's number 30 played the remainder of the game and despite the home side being predominantly in control, the deadlock could not be broken and there was no breakthrough for either side.
Later in the evening, it was Idah who was in action for his country as the Republic of Ireland played France in a group B qualification match.
Both he and Andrew Omobamidele started on the bench for Stephen Kenny's side at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, with Idah joining the field in the 65th minute.
Only one goal separated the side, as Benjamin Pavard's effort from distance was enough to take home a win for the Blues.
Omobamidele was an unused substitute for the match.
Both matches conclude the three Canaries' international duties during the March break.
