José Córdoba scored his first international goal for Panama and Kellen Fisher represented England Under-21s at Carrow Road as the international window drew to a close.
Defender Córdoba enjoyed a standout window with Panama. After playing the full 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw against South Africa on Friday, he went one better in the second friendly between the two nations on Tuesday. Córdoba was the hero, reacting quickest to a rebound to score from close range and help secure a 2-1 victory with his first international goal.
Tuesday night was one to remember for Kellen Fisher as England U21s hosted Moldova at Carrow Road in a Euro 2027 qualifier. In front of City head coach Philippe Clement and 11,547 fans, Fisher was introduced in the 79th minute to a rousing reception from the locals. He helped see out a dominant 4-1 win, marking his second cap for the Young Lions.
Meanwhile, Kenny McLean made a 20-minute cameo on Tuesday in a friendly against Ivory Coast. Earlier in the window, McLean earned the Player of the Match award in Scotland's narrow 1-0 defeat to Japan at Hampden Park.
Ali Ahmed’s Canada and Anis Ben Slimane’s Tunisia played out a 0-0 draw in Toronto in a friendly. Slimane played 90 minutes while Ahmed was introduced as a 76th minute substitute.
Elliot Myles made his debut for Wales Under-21s on Tuesday as he came off the bench in the 67th minute during the team’s 4-0 loss to Denmark in a European qualifier.
Earlier in the window, Errol Mundle-Smith made his international debut for the England Under-20s. Mundle-Smith played the final 21 minutes of an exciting 3-3 draw against Italy.
