Teemu Pukki claimed an assist for Finland, but was on the losing side after a 3-1 defeat to Denmark in European Championship Qualifying on Thursday, March 23.
The striker played all 90 minutes of Finland's opening game of qualification for the 2024 European Championships, starting alongside Joel Pohjanpalo in Copenhagen.
After falling behind to a Rasmus Højlund goal in the first half, Pukki assisted Oliver Antman to equalise for Finland. Højlund would add two more goals for himself and for Denmark, as the hosts went onto claim a 3-1 win.
Pukki and Finland are back in action on Sunday, March 26, as they travel away to Belfast for another qualifying fixture against Northern Ireland. The fixture at Windsor Park kicks off at 7.45pm.
