It has been a mixed set of results over the weekend so far for Norwich City players on international duty.

On Friday, Onel Hernández and Cuba kicked things off with a superb 2-0 away win at Antigua and Barbuda.

Cuba dominated the match from the start with Luis Paradela going close before Onel set up a shooting opportunity for Karel Espino and he rattled the crossbar.

Cuba took a deserved lead in the 15th minute when Paradela headed home from eight yards out and it should have been 2-0 in the first minute of the second half as Onel raced down the left and teed up a great chance for Dairon Reyes. However, the Inter Miami striker side-footed an effort wide from close range.

That gave Antigua and Barbuda hope and around the 70th minute mark they started pushing for an equaliser. However, Onel made sure of the three points when he beat the offside trap to race in on goal and nutmeg the Antigua and Barbuda keeper with nine minutes left to play.

The victory puts Cuba top of the Concacaf Group A Nations League Group, ahead of this evening's match against Antigua and Barbuda at home.

The Three Lions have already qualified for the UEFA Under-21 Championships next summer, but now sit six points clear at the top of the group having won eight and drawn one of their nine games in Group G.

Max picked up an assist for the second goal as he delivered a superb cross for Anthony Gordon to head home after 12 minutes. England will complete their qualification campaign on Monday night with a match against Slovenia Under-21s at the John Smith’s Stadium in Huddersfield.

Yesterday's results were not as good though. Grant Hanley played a full 90 minutes as Scotland were defeated 3-0 away at the Republic of Ireland. Teemu Pukki played 68 minutes of Finland's 1-0 defeat to Romania. Teemu created a chance for Joel Pohjanpalo to equalise early in the second half, by sending a first-time cross into his teammate's path. However, from eight yards out, Pohjanpalo was denied by a good save from Florin Nitã. Finland sit second in their group, a point behind league leaders Bosnia and Herzegovina.    Luxembourg also sit second in their Nations League group following a 2-0 home defeat to Türkiye. Danel Sinani played 81 minutes of the game.   **Today's Nations League games are as follows:** **7.45pm:** Greece v Kosovo (Giannoulis, Tzolis and Rashica)
