After joining Norwich City on a two-year deal, Lucien Mahovo spoke to Canaries TV in his first interview with the club.
Lucien, first of all welcome to Norwich City. How do you feel after you have signed for the club?
Brilliant, it’s a great club, it has brilliant facilities and I am so excited to get ready and get going.
What can you tell us about yourself as a player?
I like to think that I am athletically good, and alright technically. I love to get on the ball as much as I can and influence the game. I like to play centre back or CDM.
You join us from Notts County, what can you tell us about your time there?
I absolutely loved it there, I spent a good three years of my life there. They took me in when nobody else wanted to and they have made me the player I am today, so I am so grateful for the opportunities they have given me and it was a good ending.
You have also had experience out on loan; how will that help you with your move here?
I think it helps massively, I think the men’s game is completely different to what the Under-21s bring and when you go there you come out a different player, so I think that I have learned a lot of valuable lessons when going out on loan, and I am ready to apply them here.
Pre-season is underway now, how excited are you to get started?
I am so excited, looking around the club today the facilities are fantastic and I am so eager to use them so, I am ready to get going whenever.
