Norwich City are proud to confirm that our second charity matchday partner of the 2023/24 season is It's On The Ball.
It’s On The Ball are a testicular cancer support group and a registered charity based in Norwich, providing support to patients and their families, whilst raising awareness of the disease.
The charity was formed in 2013 and gained charity commissioned registered status in 2014, under the guidance of Dr Susanna Alexander, a consultant medical oncologist based at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
To spread the word, the charity creates and distributes information leaflets, visits schools, colleges and businesses, whilst also attending various health and wellbeing events.
It's On The Ball also created a ‘buddy’ system for newly diagnosed patients and their families.
On being nominated, CEO Vince Wolverson said: "We are delighted to have been selected as the charity matchday partner by the club.
"As a Norwich-based charity, having a presence at Carrow Road provides a great opportunity for us to promote our message amongst the Norwich City fan base, who largely match our target audience.
"Testicular cancer primarily affects men aged 15-35 years, and our message is really simple: get to know the signs and symptoms, check yourself regularly (once a month), and do not hesitate in going to the doctor if you find anything unusual. Don't die of embarrassment!"
Relying on volunteers and donations, the charity communicates its message across all corners of Norfolk, saving lives by simply making men aware of the signs and symptoms.
Through matchday activation, our focus is to help charitable organisations raise awareness of their work and to raise funds.
It's On The Ball will have their official dedicated matchday on Tuesday, February 13, for Norwich City's Sky Bet Championship fixture against Watford.

This charity was chosen by the inclusion working group, who compiled a shortlist of applicants and then all members of Norwich City staff were able to place their final votes.
