Norwich City have completed the signing of Croatian defender Jakov Medić from Eredivisie side Ajax.
The defender arrives at Carrow Road for an undisclosed fee and has signed a three-year deal until 2028, with an option of a further year.
The 26-year-old spent the 2024/25 season on loan in the Bundesliga, playing 23 times in the German top flight for VfL Bochum.
Joining the club, Medić said: "I'm really happy to come here to sign for this club. An historic club, a club I know that are really good and I'm really happy to be here."
"From the first moment that they contacted me and my agent, we spoke and I was really happy that they wanted me and they've followed me for a long time. For me, it's a really good step. I've always had a wish to play here in England, so I didn't think so much about this decision to become a player at Norwich."

He’s a great age and comes with a significant amount of experience during his time playing in both Germany and the Netherlands, in some big games. Medić has played in Croatia, Germany and the Netherlands across a varied career, having spells at the likes of 1. FC Nürnberg, SV Wehen Wiesbaden and FC St. Pauli prior to his move to the Johan Cruyff Arena.
At international level, he has represented the Croatia Under-23s.
Jakov will officially become a Norwich City player on July 1, with the transfer subject to international clearance and approval by The FA and EFL.
