First of all, welcome to Norwich City. You must be really excited to join the club, how do you feel?

I feel so happy to be here. I feel myself that I am in a good way, it's a good feeling to be here.

There seemed to be interest in you from a few clubs this summer, what helped you to make the decision to come to Norwich?

I see Norwich is like a family, and I was looking for something like that. The idea of the club, and the feeling went directly to me and I felt that I had to make this choice.

What conversations did you have with the head coach and the sporting director to make that decision?

We spoke about the future and their main idea of the club, and we both agreed with the same points. That made me happy and comfortable, and it made me feel like it was something I was looking for; that it is a family club.

You're a left-sided defender, can you tell us about your style of play?

I feel like I am calm on the ball, I'm this type of centre-back. I like to play with the ball, to have more possession with the ball. I try to help my team-mates in every case and every situation without the ball.

How much do you know about the English game, is it something that you watched when you were younger?

I have been watching the top leagues, the Premier League and the Championship as well. I watch La Liga in Spain too. I've seen how hard it is, the level of competition, the ambition of every player that joins the league. I think it's a better place for me.

Finally, there's an exciting summer ahead for you. A chance to play in the Copa América and then you come to a new club and a new country. How excited are you ahead of the next couple weeks?

It's a dream of every young player. First of all, you play in the national team and then to have a chance to play in this competition. This is very important for me, and because I am younger I can take a lot of experience from this. I cannot wait to give my best for my country, and then come back and join the team.
