Kamara makes permanent switch to Hull City

Abu Kamara has completed a permanent move to Sky Bet Championship side Hull City for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old made his first-team debut for the club in April 2023, coming on a substitute against Sheffield United.

He scored his first goal for the club earlier this season, netting in the 4-3 win over Stevenage in the Carabao Cup.

Kamara spent last season on loan at League One side Portsmouth, featuring in all 46 league games for John Mousinho's side.

Sporting director Ben Knapper said: “We’re disappointed to see Abu depart, as he is a player with potential and someone both myself and Johannes (Hoff Thorup) were keen to work with going forwards.

“That said, we respect his desire to go and experience something new, and we wish him well with this next challenge, and in his future career more broadly.”

Everybody at Norwich City wishes Abu all the best on his move.
