Norwich City Academy forward Abu Kamara has been nominated for January's Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.
Kamara featured in all three fixtures for the Under-21s across the month. He got off to a scoring start in the month's first game, scoring the opener against Stoke City. That was followed up by a goalless draw away at Southampton, before he netted twice against Leeds United to round-off the month.
Other nominees for PL2 Player of the Month are: Dominic Ballard (Southampton), Carlos Borges (Manchester City), Mason Burstow (Chelsea), Joe Hugill (Manchester United), Adedire Mebude (Manchester City), Divin Mubama (West Ham United), and Mikki Van Sas (Manchester City).
The nominees were selected by the Premier League's Football Development Panel, after PL2 club coaches nominated the best performance by an opponent in each of their league matches in the month.
The winner of the award will be announced on Friday, February 10.
