Kenny McLean spoke to CanariesTV following Norwich City's 2-1 win against Rotherham United, scoring the Canaries' first goal.
McLean headed Norwich into a first-half lead, before the hosts levelled after the break. Aaron Ramsey fired in an instant reply, putting the Yellows back in front.
"Obviously, we're delighted with the result. The performance was okay, I feel like we could've done better. They're a physical side, put us under pressure, and we put that on ourselves in the last few minutes.
"Sometimes, that's good. You go into the changing room, and you feel like you've deserved three points. It took a lot out of us today, and we really did earn them. It feels good, a win always does. Never get tired of winning, and we know the fans are going home happy.
"For the goal, I've not found myself there too often this season. Whether if I've been at left-back or elsewhere, and I think it's the first time I've played in the middle with Isaac Hayden. It gives you that freedom to go forward. And then I find myself at the back stick with a tap-in. It felt nice to put it away, which put us in a good position.
"We spoke at half-time that we were getting dragged into it a little bit. To come out in the second half and give a goal away in the way that we did was very disappointing. The reaction, the character, it was excellent.
"That goal put us in command again, and we managed the game well. Could've possibly scored more, maybe one on the breakaway we had. Those finishing touches, which we've talked about a lot this season. We could get that right, and put games to bed earlier but it's three points.
"The fans were excellent, we walked out here for the start of the game and knew how the back of the goal felt. It gives you such a lift, they didn't stop all game. Even when we conceded, and I know we scored quickly, but they didn't stop all game. They push us, and it's great. If they go home happy, we've done our job."
