Norwich City continued pre-season with a 2-0 win away to King's Lynn Town on Tuesday night thanks to goals from Teemu Pukki and Christos Tzolis.
The two sides came out to a good crowd at The Walks, the Linnets pressing and creating chances in the first five minutes.
We had our first good chance of the game 25 minutes in, Dimitris Giannoulis' cross finding Tzolis, who steered it wide of the far post.
Increasing the tempo on the half-hour mark, Onel Hernandez picked out Danel Sinani with a cross into the box. He spotted Tzolis, who headed wide.
Grant Hanley had a chance from a Sinani corner, heading the ball onto the roof of the net.
We took the lead in the 36th minute, King's Lynn giving the ball away to Pukki, who went around the goalkeeper and placed the ball into an empty net.
Tzolis put us two up moments later, slotting home into the bottom right corner from Giannoulis' delivery to send the Canaries into half-time with a 2-0 lead.
City began the second half in promising fashion with good link-up play between Hernandez, Pukki and Max Aarons.
It was almost 3-0 when Giannoulis lifted the ball over the top to Pukki, who dinked the keeper and saw the ball hit the post.
Dean Smith freshened things up with 60 minutes played, Jordan Hugill, Todd Cantwell, Christoph Zimmermann, Josh Sargent, Jonathan Rowe, Milot Rashica, Jonathan Tomkinson, Liam Gibbs and Sam McCallum coming on.
Rashica then provided for Sargent, whose flicked header almost came to Hugill at the far post.
The Linnets fought back with a couple of chances, but in the end City saw out a routine 2-0 win at The Walks.
