Jonathan Rowe scored a 98th-minute header to send Norwich City through to the second round of the Carabao Cup with a 1-0 win over Queens Park Rangers.
It was a case of late drama again for Norwich, a third time in three games to start this season.
And this time, it was Rowe who was the creator of the late chaos when he nodded home in the last minute of the eight added on, jumping highest to meet Kellen Fisher's cross.
Set-pieces provided the best early chances, but even then they weren't ones with any great expectation.
Shane Duffy got his head to the second ball from a corner but couldn't generate enough power on it before the Irishman then nodded on for Kenny McLean to try an overhead kick that was off-target.
QPR's first chance came when Albert Adomah won possession and tried his luck, his deflected effort would fall to Elijah Dixon-Bonner whose volley was wide of Angus Gunn's goal.
Onel Hernández would be introduced after just 32 minutes, replacing the injured Tony Springett. He had a chance almost immediately when he was the target of Liam Gibbs' header across goal but it was sniffed out by Jordan Archer.
For the second half, David Wagner introduced Gabriel Sara to the Canaries' midfield.
However, it was the home side who almost broke the deadlock early on - but Lyndon Dykes' effort dropped comfortably to Gunn.
From there, opportunities were hard-earned. Norwich were unfortunate to lose Hernández to injury with Wagner opting to make three substitutions.
The best legs offered some new impetus in attack and Ashley Barnes was the one who would come closest.
His header first went just wide of the post before a left-footed strike was too high.
Sara forced a save from Joe Walsh late in added time, and Przemysław Płacheta fired an attempt just past the post, and it looked like that's how it would finish.
With penalties looming on the horizon, Rowe popped up to get his head on the end of Fisher's delivery and book City's place in the second round.
A trip to face Bristol City at Ashton Gate awaits for the Canaries at the end of the month.
