Level Playing Field’s Weeks of Action was established in the early-2000s to highlight the positive initiatives undertaken by clubs, sporting venues, governing bodies and disabled sports fans themselves to create an inclusive football club experience for all.
The Level Playing Field ‘Unite For Access’ campaign is an annual period of inspiration and celebration of good access and inclusion at sports venues.
This year’s ‘Unite For Access’ (formerly Level Playing Field Weeks of Action) will take place between Saturday, February 25, and Sunday, March 12.
At Norwich City, the club have organised a series of events and celebrations around the Norwich City Women’s fixture against Cambridge United on February 19, as well as our men’s team’s fixture against Birmingham City next Tuesday evening.

An Accessibility Forum will be held within the Joma Gallery canteen with special guest Kevin James, chairman of the Disabled Supporters Association, who will be updating us about the DSA and taking part in a Q&A session (6.30pm to 7.30pm)

VENI (Visitor Economy Network Initiative) project is to inspire young people to consider a career in hospitality and tourism. It consists of 10 (1 x wheelchair user) young people (aged 17-19) who have come through an assessment day and are showing potential as future business leaders, chosen from a class of 30 students for their positive attitude towards challenges thrown at them and showing leadership qualities too.
These students will spend the day at Norwich City and will attend a series of 30-minute Q&As from key staff members and special guests.
