Norfolk's European champion Lauren Hemp MBE will be presented to the crowd before Saturday's Sky Bet Championship opener against Millwall.
Just under two weeks on from the Lionesses' dramatic win over Spain in the EURO 2025 final, Hemp will bring out the match ball ahead of Saturday's game.
The North Walsham native was an ever-present in Sarina Wiegman's England starting line-up throughout the tournament and scored in the group stages against Wales.
Hemp is a product of the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation's female pathway, where she was part of what was then the Centre of Excellence.
She joined professional side Bristol City in 2016 and since 2018 has made over 100 appearances for Women's Super League outfit Manchester City and 70 appearances for the Lionesses, including both successful European Championship finals.
It's another reason for supporters to arrive early to Saturday's fixture in addition to a £2 drink offer before 2.15pm and the use of digital ticketing for a first league game.
The club has encouraged supporters to arrive earlier than usual to reduce the risk of queues and to allow staff to support anyone who may need additional assistance.
The Norwich City ticket office remains open this week during office hours for in-person help in advance of matchday.
