City loanee Aston Oxborough also registered two wins in a row with Barnet. They won 2-1 at Stockport County on Tuesday before beating Aldershot Town 2-1 at home on Saturday to climb to 14th in the National League.

Milton Keynes Dons were in EFL Trophy action on Tuesday night, losing 4-2 at home to Aston Villa, but Josh Martin notched an assist for Troy Parrott in that game as MK Dons finished Group K in second place with six points, advancing to the next round.

Four City loanees were in Sky Bet Championship action last week, starting with Sam McCallum on Friday night. Queens Park Rangers drew 1-1 at home to Nottingham Forest to go eighth in the league, McCallum unfortunately forced off with an injury in the 26th minute.

Fulham continued their ascent with a 3-0 win at home to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, Jordan Hugill playing 59 minutes for the Baggies, who are now third in the Championship, four points behind Fulham and nine shy of AFC Bournemouth.

Two places below West Brom are Huddersfield Town, who won 1-0 at home to Millwall on Saturday. Danel Sinani played 74 minutes for the Terriers.

As for Onel Hernandez, he featured for 57 minutes of Middlesbrough's 2-0 loss at home to Birmingham City on Saturday. Neil Warnock's side are now 11th in the second tier.

Daniel Adshead got 90 minutes under his belt as Gillingham were eliminated from the EFL Trophy following a 2-0 loss at home to West Ham United Under-21s on Tuesday.

In Scotland, Reece McAlear came on in the 71st minute of Inverness Caledonian Thistle's 1-0 loss at home to Arbroath. ICT are now second in the Scottish Championship, two behinds behind Kilmarnock and two ahead of Arbroath.

Finally, there was a cameo appearance for Sebastian Soto, who came on in the 79th minute of FC Porto B's 0-0 draw away to Estrela Amadora on Sunday. FC Porto B are now 13th in the LigaPro.
