Eight Norwich City loanees were in action for their sides last week.
In Croatia, HNK Rijeka remained at the top of the 1. HNL with 23 points from ten games following Saturday’s emphatic 6-3 win over Istra 1961.
City loanee Josip Drmic played the full 90 minutes and registered one assist for Rijeka.
Over in Iceland, Isak Thorvaldsson played 90 minutes as IA Akranes beat Keflavik IF 2-0 at home to advance to the final of the Icelandic Men’s Football Cup.
In the Football League, two City loanees featured in England’s second tier. Danel Sinani played 73 minutes of Huddersfield Town’s 0-0 draw at Luton Town, while Jordan Hugill played 55 minutes of West Bromwich Albion’s 1-0 loss at Stoke City.
Huddersfield are now seventh in the Sky Bet Championship, one point outside the play-offs, while West Brom are second and three points behind AFC Bournemouth.
In League One, Charlton Athletic climbed to 21st with a 2-1 win away to Fleetwood Town, Akin Famewo playing the full game in defence.
Three places above them are Gillingham, who lost 2-0 at home to league leaders Wigan Athletic on Saturday, Daniel Adshead playing the full 90 minutes.
In the National League, Matthew Dennis came on in the 68th minute as Southend United lost 2-0 away to Solihull Moors. Southend are now 21st in the division.
Finally, Sam Blair featured in Bury Town’s 4-3 win at home to Aveley to go fifth in the Isthmian League North Division and three points off the top of the table.
