Norwich City loanee Onel Hernandez secured three points for Middlesbrough on Wednesday night with his first goal for the club.
Neil Warnock's side took the lead at Nottingham Forest through Andraz Sporar in the 24th minute.
Hernandez made sure of the three points when he nicked the ball off of Forest 'keeper Ethan Horvath in the 72nd minute, before tapping it across the line and wheeling away in celebration.
Off came the shirt as Hernandez embraced the Boro supporters, receiving a yellow card for his troubles!
Middlesbrough are now 11th in the Sky Bet Championship with nine points from seven games.
Elsewhere, Norwich City Academy forward Isak Thorvaldsson played the first 69 minutes for IA Akranes as they beat IR Reykjavik 3-1 in the quarter-final of the Icelandic Men's Football Cup.
