More than 10 Norwich City loan players were in action for their clubs over the Easter weekend, with a several players featuring twice with games on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Josh Martin, on loan at Sky bet League One side Doncaster Rovers, continued his good form as he played 90 minutes on Good Friday as his side lost 2-1 to Bolton Wanderers. He then registered an assist as Rovers came from 3-0 down against Shrewsbury Town to grab a point in a 3-3 draw.
However, it does look like Doncaster are going to be relegated into League Two unless there is a massive goal difference swing with just two games remaining, Rovers sitting six points behind Gillingham in 20th, the goal difference swing being 17 goals with just two games remaining.

In Croatia, Josip Drmic played 90 minutes for HNK Rijeka, scoring a late consolation goal in the 92nd minute as they lost to NK Lokomotiva Zagreb. Rijeka are just outside of the places for qualification for Europe sitting four points behind Hajduk Split having played one more game with five games left.
Also in League One, Akin Famewo the full 90 minutes for Charlton Athletic in their 3-2 defeat at home to Morecambe. The Addicks also play tonight against Cambridge United in what is their penultimate away match of the season. Charlton currently sit 15th in the league and are in no trouble of relegation this season.
In the Championship, Sam McCallum played the full 90 minutes in both of Queens Park Rangers’ Easter matches, featuring in their 2-2 draw against Huddersfield on Friday. He also helped the R’s keep a clean sheet in their 1-0 victory over Derby County on Monday, a match which saw the Rams relegated from the Championship.
In the battle for promotion in the Championship QPR currently sit in 10th position, three points outside of the play-offs places with just three games remaining.
McCallum faced off against teammate Danel Sinani on Friday as Sinani played 75 minutes for Huddersfield Town in their 2-2 draw at home against fellow promotion hopefuls QPR whilst he wasn’t in action for their 2-0 victory over Middlesbrough on Monday lunchtime.
The Terriers now sit in third position in the league, four points off the automatic promotion spots having played two matches more than Bournemouth in second. Huddersfield need just the one win from their remaining three matches to clinch a play-off spot.
Meanwhile, Todd Cantwell played 63 minutes in Bournemouth’s 0-0 draw against Middlesbrough on Friday, whilst he didn’t feature against Coventry in their 3-0 victory.
The Cherries are now in a very good position to get promoted, four points ahead of Huddersfield in third with two games in hand. Nottingham Forest are their other closest rivals, who currently sit seven points behind Bournemouth, but have played the same amount of matches.
On the opposite end of the table, Jordan Hugill played 81 minutes in Cardiff City’s 1-0 defeat at home to Luton Town on Monday, Jordan did not feature in the Bluebird’s 2-1 defeat away against Hull City on Friday.
Cardiff currently sit in 17th position in the second tier and are safe from relegation to League One.
Further down in the Championship, Onel Hernández was in action for Birmingham City who endured a disappointing Easter period.
Onel played 90 minutes in both matches for Birmingham City on Friday and Monday where they lost 4-2 to Coventry City after taking an early 2-0 lead, the Blues then losing 6-1 away to Blackpool on Monday.
However, due to other results at the weekend, Birmingham City are now mathematically safe from the drop into League One, currently sitting in 20th position.
In League Two, Tyrese Omotoye was in action for Carlisle United, the winger played 68 minutes in Carlisle 1-0 defeat to Walsall but didn’t feature in their 1-0 victory over promotion hopefuls Mansfield. Carlisle are 17th and safe with three games left in the League Two season.
Matthew Dennis featured for Southend United as a substitute in both their Easter fixtures, he played 19 minutes against Wealdstone in their 1-0 defeat and 21 minutes against Barnet away from home in their 3-1 win. Southend currently sit in 13th in the National with no hope of promotion but have no worry of relegation with just three matches left for the Shrimpers.
Keeper Sam Blair and Bury Town were also in action, losing 1-0 on Saturday against Felixstowe and Walton United, Felixstowe and Walton confirming their play-off spot in the Isthmian North.
Bury also lost 1-0 to AFC Sudbury on Monday with Sam playing 90 minutes in both matches.
Finally, In Scotland, Reece McClear played 70 minutes for Inverness Caledonian Thistle’s 2-1 victory at home over Kilmarnock who are top of the league. This has seen Inverness confirm their spot in the play-offs in the Scottish Championship.
Reece and Inverness are also in action tonight against Queen of the South away from home, a team who are currently at bottom of the second tier in Scotland.
