Bali Mumba scored the equaliser against Ipswich that helped Plymouth secure a win in a Sky Bet League One fixture on Sunday.
Morgan Whittaker claimed the winner with 20 minutes to go in front of a lively Home Park crowd, and Mumba was then voted Player of the Match. The win puts the Pilgrims top of the table, overtaking Ipswich by a point.
Sticking with League One, Josh Martin was part of the Barnsley side that beat Charlton 3-1, moving them up to fifth in the table. Martin came on as a substitute in the 84th minute to help secure the win.
Saxon Earley played 30 minutes of Stevenage's 1-0 win over Harrogate Town, which lifted them up to third in Sky Bet League Two.
There was a clean sheet for John McCraken over in Ireland as Bohemian FC beat Finn Harps 2-0 away from home. The win means they remain in sixth place in the League of Ireland Premier Division.
Over in Hertfordshire, Joe Rose was not part of the Cheshunt side that lost 3-4 to visitors Tonbridge Angels.
Sam Blair played the full 90 minutes in Wroxham's 5-1 win over Lowestoft Town in the Isuzu FA Trophy, seeing them progress to the third round of the cup.
Turkish side Galatasaray were not in league action this week, as they played a friendly during the international period. Milot Rashica did not feature in the side that beat Istanbulspor 2-1.
Przemysław Płacheta was not in action for Birmingham, as the Championship continued an international break.
