Following Tuesday's 1-1 draw away to Peterborough United, the Terriers lost 2-1 at Cardiff City on the weekend, Sinani's opening goal making him the first player from Luxembourg to score in the Championship. Huddersfield are now eighth in the league and one point off the play-offs. **Jordan Hugill** made a couple of substitute appearances for West Bromwich Albion last week. They beat Hull City 1-0 at home on Wednesday and drew 1-1 against Middlesbrough at The Hawthorns on Saturday, Hugill coming on in the 63rd and 46th minutes respectively. Valerian Ismael's side are now third in the Championship, eight points adrift of AFC Bournemouth and six behind Fulham. **Onel Hernandez** was also involved in that game, coming on in the 88th minute. The Cuban featured in midweek as well, playing 83 minutes of Middlesbrough's 3-1 loss at Luton Town. Middlesbrough are now 14th in the league and have appointed Chris Wilder to replace Neil Warnock. In League One, Charlton Athletic went three games unbeaten with Tuesday's 1-1 draw at home to third placed Rotherham United. **Akin Famewo** played the full game with the Addicks now 18th in the third tier. He also played all of Saturday's 4-0 win at home to Havant & Waterlooville in the second round of the FA Cup.

As for Gillingham, they drew 1-1 at home to Cheltenham Town to force an FA Cup replay away from home, **Daniel Adshead** playing the first half for the Gills. There was FA Cup disappointment for **Matthew Dennis** and Southend United. The City loanee came on in the 87th minute as Southend lost 3-1 away to Chesterfield to be eliminated in the first round. In non-league, **Sam Blair** played 90 minutes of Bury Town's 2-1 loss at Dereham Town and 90 minutes of their 2-1 win at home to Romford last week.
