Goalkeeper George Long has extended his stay at Norwich City, signing a new three-year contract with the club.
Long initially joined City in 2023 from Millwall and has made 14 appearances, seven of those in the Sky Bet Championship during the 2023/24 season.
He joined his boyhood club Sheffield United at the age of nine and would go on to play for their first team over 120 times before departing in 2018 after 16 years.
Spells at Hull City and Millwall followed before he joined Norwich in August 2023 to replace the departing Tim Krul.
On signing a new contract, Long said: "I'm really delighted to be staying here. It's a fantastic club, going in a great direction, and such an exciting time to be a player here.
"It's really positive, we've got a lot of fresh faces, young lads coming into the team. But it's starting to click now, and we've picked up some really good results."
Sporting director Ben Knapper added: We’re really pleased to extend George’s stay with us. He has been steadily improving for some time now, and he’s a valued member of our squad.
"He suits our playing style well, is important for our culture and generally has a really positive influence on our group.
"He is a model professional, and his drive to constantly improve and to push every single day embodies everything that we stand for."
