Norwich City Women are back in action on Sunday afternoon with a trip to Surrey to face Ashford Town Women in the final Division One South East fixture of the 2023/24 season (KO 2pm).
The Canaries picked up another three points in last Sunday's match against Chesham United, beating the Generals 6-1 at Chiltern Hills Academy.
The goals came from Hope Strauss, Ellie Smith, Lauren Hailes, Holly Kennard and Natasha Snelling, who notched her eighth brace of the season.
The Opposition
Sunday's opponents have had a comfortable season in Division One South East, sitting in sixth place with 33 points for the season.
Town have recorded nine wins, six draws and six losses in their league campaign, most notably beating title winners AFC Wimbledon 2-0 away from home earlier in the season.
Alissa Downs and Ashley Cheatley hold the top spot for goals scored this season, netting 12 times each.
A win this weekend for Ashford could see the Tangerines finish as high as fourth in Division One South East.
Last Time Out
The Canaries ran out winners in the reverse fixture that ended 4-2 at The Nest back in November.
Alice Parker was able to replicate her stunning strikes against Town from the previous season at home, scoring twice in quick succession from distance and from a free-kick.
Snelling and Katie Knights were also on the scoresheet for the Canaries to complete the four goals, whilst Cheatley and Millie Constantine claimed the two consolations goals later in the game.
