We’re on the road again Tuesday night, as we head to St. Andrew’s to face Birmingham City in our next Sky Bet Championship fixture.

We’ll be looking to make it four wins in four following Saturday's 1-0 win over Sunderland AFC, after Josh Sargent netted his fourth goal of the 2022/23 campaign.

The opposition

John Eustace’s side find themselves in the bottom end of the league table, following just one win in their opening six fixtures.

The opening day of the season saw the Blues take a point from Luton Town during a goalless draw at Kenilworth Road. Their victory came against Huddersfield the following week, in a 2-1 win, before they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by the Canaries at Carrow Road.

The remaining three fixtures in the league so far have been losses against Cardiff City, Wigan Athletic, and Rotherham United, whilst they picked up a point at home against seventh place Watford.

Those results leave them 21st in the table, on five points.

Head-to-head

In the 73 meetings between the two sides, the results have been split fairly evenly, with 27 wins for Norwich, 23 wins for Birmingham and 23 draws.

Last time we met was during round one of the Carabao Cup, where a 2-2 draw at 90 minutes sent the game to penalties. Three saves from Angus Gunn put City through to the second round of the cup.

Our last league result saw City take three points from St. Andrew’s in a 3-1 win over the Blues, thanks to two goals from Teemu Pukki and a stoppage time winner from Oliver Skipp.
