Bristol City appointed Nigel Pearson in February 2021 having previously spending a shortlived tenure at Watford.
His managerial CV includes two titles, the 2008/09 League One and 2013/14 Championship, both with Leicester City.
His playing days saw him make just shy of 550 appearances for Shrewsbury Town, Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough.
