Norwich City are back on the road on Tuesday night, as they travel away to Turf Moor to face Burnley in a rescheduled SkyBet Championship clash (8pm KO).
The original tie, which was down for September 9, was postponed due to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
Norwich dropped to seventh in the league, following Saturday's draw at Sheffield United, with Dean Smith's looking to return to winning ways.
Burnley currently sit third in the Championship, and recorded a brilliant 4-2 win away at Sunderland. Vincent Kompany's side were 2-0 down at the break, but produced a brilliant turnaround at the Stadium of Light.
The opposition
The Clarets finished 18th in the Premier League and ended their six-year stay in the top flight. Sean Dyche's time in charge of the club came to and end in April, with Kompany taking over in the summer.
Burnley have only lost once in the league this season and are unbeaten since mid-August, when they lost 1-0 to Watford, meaning they are 13 games unbeaten.
Their record at Turf Moor is impressive, with the Clarets yet to lose at home so far this season.
Head to head
There has been 45 ties between the two sides since 1934, with the Canaries winning 16 times. Eight games have ended in draws, with Burnley coming out on top 21 times.
In the last meeting between the two sides, Norwich were the victors. In April this year, the Yellows were 2-0 winners at Carrow Road. Teemu Pukki and Pierre Lees-Melou were on the scoresheet that day.
The last time Norwich visited Turf Moor was in October 2021, and the game ended goalless.
Ref watch
Tony Harrington is the man in charge on Tuesday night, and will be assisted by Jonathan Hunt and George Byrne. The fourth official will be Dean Whitestone.
