Norwich City Women are back on the road this weekend for the determining round of the FAWNL League Cup against Cambridge United Women.
Winning teams in the round will continue in the cup competition, whilst those losing out will then play for the plate.
The match takes place at St Neots Town and kicks off at 2pm.
Darren Marjoram made seven new signings over the summer, with three development players also joining the first-team set up.
United are yet to open their 2023/24 account, having postponed their first game of the season due to the Women's World Cup last week.
They finished their 2022/23 campaign in eighth place, seven points above rivals Cambridge City and 16 points behind Norwich.
Much like the Canaries, United were knocked out of last season's League Cup with a heavy defeat to opposition from the Southern Premier Division; Norwich losing 6-0 to Watford and Cambridge losing 5-1 to Gillingham.
In three meetings last season between these two sides, City were victorious on all occasions, with a 2-1 win at home and double 4-1 wins away and in the FA Cup.
The Canaries will be playing the U's again on Sunday, September 10, at Carrow Road for an FAWNL Division One South East fixture. Get tickets here.
