Here we go - our Sky Bet Championship 2022/23 campaign begins at the Cardiff City Stadium at 3pm on Saturday!
To bring you up to date on our summer activity, we have completed the signings of Isaac Hayden (on loan) and Gabriel Sara, with Lukas Rupp, Christoph Zimmermann and Pierre Lees-Melou making way from last season's senior squad.
Throughout pre-season, we've beaten Dereham Town (4-0), King's Lynn Town (2-0), Olympique de Marseille (3-0) and Cambridge United (3-1).
We drew 2-2 against SSV Jahn Regensburg during our pre-season training camp in Germany, and lost 2-0 and 1-0 to Celtic and Hibernian respectively on last weekend's visit to Scotland.
The opposition
As for Cardiff, a number of free transfers have been made since the start of July, notably Sheyi Ojo joining the club from Liverpool as the Bluebirds' most recent permanent acquisition, having previously spent time in south Wales on loan.
Pre-season matches have gone smoothly for Steve Morison's side, who beat Cambridge (3-2), Newport County (2-0), Cheltenham Town (2-1), and Swindon Town (4-2). They also drew 0-0 against Shrewsbury Town.
Last season, Mick McCarthy was in charge of the club until October, when he was replaced by Morison, who took Cardiff to an 18th place finish.
Forward Jordan Hugill spent the second half of last season on loan at Cardiff and netted four goals.
Head-to-head
In the 58 meetings between Norwich and Cardiff since 1931, there have been 33 Norwich wins, 16 Cardiff wins and nine draws.
Last time we met, goals from Todd Cantwell and Grant Hanley secured a 2-1 win at the Cardiff City Stadium behind closed doors during the 2020/21 season.

Tim Robinson has been appointed to take charge of Saturday's game, Andrew Fox and Sam Lewis his assistants and Josh Smith the fourth official.
Video Assistant Referee will not be used in the Championship this season.
