Norwich City are on the road again this Saturday, with a trip to the Coventry Building Society Arena to play Coventry City in the Sky Bet Championship (KO 12.30pm).
David Wagner's first league game as Norwich head coach was a good one, as the Canaries were 4-0 winners over Preston North End. Teemu Pukki and Kieran Dowell both scored twice.
The Sky Blues were in action last week too, as they were beaten 1-0 away to Burnley. Jordan Beyer scored the game's only goal.
The opposition
Coventry currently sit in 15th place in the Championship, winning nine of their 26 league games so far this season. They've also drawn eight, and lost nine.
The side are managed by former Canary Mark Robins, and they've signed two players on loan in January. Brooke Norton-Cuffy arrived on loan from Arsenal, with Manchester City's Josh Wilson-Esbrand also joining until the end of the season.
One to watch
Viktor Gyökeres
Originally signing for the Sky Blues on loan in January 2021, Gyökeres joined Coventry permanently in the summer of the same year from Brighton & Hove Albion. He started his career with IF Brommapojkarna in his native Sweden, before his move to Brighton.
The Swedish international had loan spells at St Pauli and Swansea City prior to his move to Coventry. So far this season, he has scored 12 times in the Championship.
The manager
Mark Robins
No stranger to Norwich fans, Mark Robins spent a few years of his playing career at Carrow Road. After retiring from playing, he began his management career at Rotherham United. Later spells at Barnsley, Coventry, Huddersfield Town, and Scunthorpe United followed, before a return to Coventry in March 2017.
During his second stint with the club, Robins has guided the Sky Blues to promotion twice. Winning the League Two play-offs in 2018, and then won the League One title in 2020.
Last time out
Norwich were 3-0 winners in the reverse fixture back in September, with Dowell, Pukki and Josh Sargent on the scoresheet that day.
