The FAWNL Division One South East is back and Norwich City Women will travel to Dulwich Hamlet Women for the first game of the season on Sunday, August 18 (KO 2pm).
The match will take place at Champion Hill, where the newly-promoted side will be looking to set the tone for their 2024/25 season.
The 2023/24 campaign was a hugely progressive one for the Canaries, seeing them finish second in the table and narrowly missing out on promotion by seven points.
City also went almost the entire league campaign without a loss, only falling to a 1-0 defeat against Ashford Town on the closing day of the campaign.
The summer break has seen a handful of changes for the Canaries, with the appointment of a new head coach, Andy Cook, and six new signings announced.
The Opposition
Dulwich Hamlet secured promotion from the London and South East Regional Women's Premier Division last season, beating rivals Dartford by three points.
The league title was secured on the final day of the campaign, as the Hamlets beat out Saltdean United 5-1 away from home.
Top scorer Summer Roberts scored a total of 24 goals to help her side achieve promotion to the FAWNL, followed by Lily Price, accumulating nine goals.
