Norwich City travel to Anfield for Saturday's Premier League fixture against Liverpool (3pm KO).
The Canaries are looking to get points on the board following last weekend's 4-0 defeat at home to Manchester City.
The opposition
Jürgen Klopp's side beat Inter Milan 2-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
They're second in the Premier League ahead of the weekend, nine points behind Man City and seven clear of third-placed Chelsea.
Liverpool and Man City have both scored 61 goals in the league this season, more than any other side.
Since a 2-2 draw at Chelsea at the start of 2022, Liverpool have beaten Brentford, Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Burnley in the topflight, conceding just one goal.
Mohamed Salah is the club's top scorer with 23 goals in all competitions this season, and has recently returned from the African Cup of Nations alongside Sadio Mané and Naby Keïta.
Head-to-head
In the 68 meetings between Norwich and Liverpool since 1909, there have been 39 Liverpool wins, 14 Norwich wins and 15 draws.
Last time we met was in the Carabao Cup in September 2021, Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi contributing to a 3-0 win for the visitors at Carrow Road on that day.
As for our previous visit to Anfield, that came at the start of the 2019/20 season, Liverpool winning that Premier League game 4-1.

Mike Dean last took charge of a Norwich City game in January when we beat Watford 3-0 at Vicarage Road with two goals from Josh Sargent. The match official sent Emmanuel Dennis off in that match for two bookable offences.
