**Darwin Núñez** With a squad boasting a lot of world class talent, it's hard to pick just one player to keep an eye on. Darwin Núñez has claimed 10 goals and 10 assists for Liverpool in all competitions so far this season. The Uruguay international began his career with Peñarol before a spell with Spanish side Almeria. Núñez later joined Benfica, before moving to Liverpool in June 2022 for a club-record fee. The 24-year-old scored twice in the 4-0 win over Bournemouth.

The German has previous managerial experience with Borussia Dortmund and Mainz 05.
