The first fixture of the new year sees Norwich City Women travel to the capital to take on London Seaward on Sunday, January 7, in Division One South East.
The match kicks off at 2pm at the Oakside Stadium in Barkingside.
Thanks to two wins out of two in December, Martin Herdman's side finished 2023 joint top of the table alongside AFC Wimbledon, with only a goal difference of six separating the two sides.
The Canaries remain unbeaten in all FAWNL league fixtures; the only team in the league with that feat.
The opposition
Four wins, five losses and three draws leaves the hosts starting the calendar year seventh in the table, with 15 points after 11 games played.
Dan McKimm has lead his team to victories over Actonians (3-1), Worthing (3-0), AFC Sudbury (6-0) and Haywards Heath Town (1-0).
Their most recent result sent them to Cambridge City, where Seaward were able to take a point in a 2-2 draw, thanks to goals from Megan Burrows and Ylenia Carabott.
Burrows is joint top-scorer with Shamoy Campbell, both of whom claim six goals each in Division One South East.
Head-to-head
In the reverse fixture at The Nest earlier this season, the Canaries were held to a 2-2 draw thanks to a brace for Natasha Snelling.
The next month saw the two sides meet again in the third round qualifying of the Women's Adobe FA Cup, where City emerged victorious in a 3-1 win at the Oakside Stadium.
In 10 meetings since 2017, Norwich City have come out on top just once, with three matches ending in draws (all three finishing 2-2) and six wins for London Seaward.
