Alan Neilson's side claimed their first win of 2024, as they came from two goals down to win 4-2 against Charlton Athletic in the Premier League Cup.
They'll look to register their first league win of the year, after defeats to Stoke City and Wolves, which leaves them in 10th place in the PL2 table.
Saturday's opponents, Manchester United, sit three places below in 13th place. They suffered a 3-2 defeat away to Chelsea in their last league outing.
The Red Devils have claimed wins in their two most recent home games, beating Newcastle United and Everton.
