Norwich City begin their 2024/25 pre-season campaign with a trip to Sixfields Stadium to take on Northampton Town (KO 3pm).
It's a first chance for Norwich fans to see the squad under the guidance of new head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup following the Dane's appointment in June.
The Canaries were due to begin their pre-season schedule earlier in the week but were forced to cancel a fixture with Stevenage due to unforeseen pitch maintenance works.
The Opposition
Northampton finished 14th in League One last season, 16 points from both the relegation zone and the play-off spots.
They had been teetering around the top six at the midway point of the season but a finish of just three wins in the final 12 games ruled them out of contention.
So far this summer, they've added former Canary Cameron McGeehan to their ranks along with Tom Eaves and James Wilson.

This Saturday’s opener against the Cobblers will be followed by three more away games, all of which can be streamed on Canaries TV:
