Norwich City face Millwall at home in their third Sky Bet Championship game of the season on Sunday, August 20 (kick-off 12pm).

The Canaries opened their campaign with a late winner against Hull City, before a dramatic 4-4 draw with Southampton last weekend.

Another late, late show in midweek saw Norwich City progress to round two of the Carabao Cup with a 1-0 win over QPR.

The Opposition

Millwall have had a mixed start in the league; they claimed a 1-0 win on the road at Middlesbrough in their opening game but were denied a point at home in game two as Bristol City snatched a 94th-minute winner.

A 4-0 loss to League One's Reading in the Carabao Cup was sandwiched between the two league games.

Millwall finished eighth in last season's Sky Bet Championship with just one point fewer than Sunderland, who snagged the final play-off position.

One to Watch

Zian Flemming

Twenty-five-year-old Dutchman Zian Flemming scored 15 goals from midfield for Millwall last season after signing from Fortuna Sittard in the summer.

A former Ajax Amsterdam academy player, Flemming was named the Millwall Supporters' Club player of the season for his performances with the Lions in 2022/23.

The Manager

Gary Rowett

A highly experienced former player, with over 400 professional appearances, Rowett has held the reins at The Den since October 2019.

His managerial career began at Burton Albion in 2012 and he has since had spells in charge of Birmingham City, Derby County, and Stoke City.

Under his tenure, Millwall have finished eighth, 11th, ninth and eighth again in the Sky Bet Championship.

Last Time Out

Norwich City and Millwall last met in the Sky Bet Championship in March, as the Canaries ran-out 3-2 winners at The Den.

Jacob Sørensen and Gabriel Sara scored either side of an own goal, while Flemming and top scorer Tom Bradshaw were on the scoresheet for Millwall.

Sara's exquisite turn and shot was the pick of the goals that day - watch the highlights below.

Ref Watch

Tony Harrington has been appointed as the referee this weekend, while Mark Scholes and Neil Davies will be acting as his assistant referees. Stephen Martin is the fourth official.
