Match preview: Norwich City U18s v West Bromwich Albion U18s

Norwich City Under-18s host West Brom Under-18s at the Lotus Training Centre on Saturday, October 30 (11am KO).

The Canaries are still looking for their first point in the Under-18 Premier League South, having most recently been beaten 3-0 at home to Arsenal U18s.

West Brom are six points ahead having won two of their seven matches so far, but lost their previous fixture 5-1 at home to Southampton.

Michael Reindorf, who has featured in each of City’s six league games so far this season, said: “as a first year, I feel like it's been a hard start but once we get that one win, it will push us and we'll start doing well from there.

"We've definitely been learning a lot. There are times where we might go into a 4-4-2, a diamond, or three at the back. Those other formations are helping us out positionally and mentally as players.

"For our point of view, the main thing is to work hard and together as a team every time you go on the pitch to try to get a result.

"It's been okay for me. Things still could be better. I want to be a starter in the 18s and then get a few training sessions with the 23s this season."
